1st4sport Level 2 Award in Instructing Cycle Training

We are proud to be a Recognised Delivery Centre for the 1st4sport Award in Instructor Cycle Training. This is an Ofqual recognised qualification that has been designed to prepare learners to deliver National Standard for Cycle Training.

KEY INFORMATION

  • Four-day course, 9-5pm each day
  • Location: The Mountbatten School or enquire for off-site group delivery at a entre of your choice
  • Involves online assessment tasks as well as practical delivery
  • Course fees start from £650 per person

WHO IS IT FOR?

  • Those interested in becoming a cycling instructor
  • Must be over 18
  • Must be a regular road cyclist who is confident, competent and consistent at riding in traffic at a standard that meets Bikeability Level 3

School Holiday Cycling Courses

We have been delivering cycle training in Hampshire since 2012 and proudly continue to do so. We offer a variety of courses including Level 2 and 3 during school holidays. If you are interested in Level 1 or non-rider training, please contact us directly.

KEY INFORMATION

  • Bikeability training that runs throughout school holidays
  • Location: The Mountbatten School
  • Time: 9-12pm or 1-4pm (select when booking)

WHO IS IT FOR?

  • Ages: Year 5 upwards
  • For those looking to improve their on-road cycling ability and confidence
  • Level 2 – must be able to ride without assistance and show control when cycling one-handed
  • Level 3 – must have completed the Level 2 course and show that they can ride independently in all aspects of that

  • Key cycling skills are taught in a controlled and friendly manner
